Pontoon Fender

This type of fender is a single piece, in white only and is sold as a continous length, i.e. purchase 2 metres, you will recieve a 2 metre piece. 

Pontoon fender is most often applied to the edges pontoons, jetties and marina to project large sea going vessels from damage when docked.

Pontoon Fender is made from PVC and is UV treated and non marking.

Our PVC Pontoon Fender and Gunwale Products require preparation before installing onto the desired project.

Due to the way these products are manufactured, they do need heat applied to remove any curls which have formed from transportation between the manufacturer, seller and customer due to being cooled. 

Please note these curls could appear more defiant in cooler areas - image provided above of installation without heat applied to the product. 

Product Installation: 

The product can be installed by direct fixing with a screw or by the applicaton of a Marine Grade Adhesive. 

To assist with installation, the product can be heated to 60 Degrees Celsius in an air circulation oven for a MINIMUM of 60 minutes and a MAXIMUM of 75 minutes.

NOTE 1: When direct fixing a Marine Grade Stainless Steel product must be used

NOTE 2: Heatproof gloves must be worn when handlign the heated product

Product Storage:

The product should be stored out of direct sunlight and proteced from dirt, dust etc.

Maintenance:

The product can be cleaned with a Marine Wash/Wax or in case of stains a mild abrasive cleaner such as JIF can be used.

We do not recommended cleaning with thinners, Petrol or Solvents.
